Last month, I covered David & Tessa’s wedding. Their wedding was graced by family and friends from all over the world who got to see some of the local wedding customs like the gatecrashing by the groom, and the tea ceremony. David is German and Tessa is Singaporean. The wedding ceremony was held in an open air courtyard at the Methodist Girls’ School which Tessa attended. The cloudy and cool weather in the late afternoon was a welcomed blessing.
There were many moments that stood out for me at the wedding — David and his groomsmen’s surprise attack at the start of the gatecrashing; David & Tessa’s first ever kiss on the lips after their solemnisation (throughout their courtship, they wanted to save the first kiss on the lips for when they were married); the father of the bride’s band performances; and hearing the beautiful duet David and Tessa sang after their solemnisation. They sang a bilingual rendition of Psalm 23 (The Lord is my Shepherd) with David singing in German and Tessa in English.
The following are a selection of photos that covers David & Tessa’s wedding day:-
