The day I photographed Elsa Blossom, we visited another new addition to another family. Baby Gabrielle was just over a month old when we dropped by for a short visit. Since I had my camera with me, I took some photos of her.
I’ve been playing around more and more with color images rather than my usual black and white. I’ve always preferred black and white photography, but lately I have begun to appreciate how the specific toning of color images can add to the mood of a photograph. The following favorites of mine were post processed to be slightly warm and have a softer overall tonal scale . . . much like the kind of photographs I remember from my childhood.
