I recently spent a few days doing the Behind The Scenes (BTS) photography for the music video of this year’s National Day Parade (NDP) theme song which was released yesterday. The 2018 NDP music video with a theme of “Portraits” was directed by Wee Li Lin and is a revamp of the 1987 classic, ‘We Are Singapore’. I covered 4 out of the 6 days of principal photography. It was a fun shoot but physically sapping for me with the hot sweltering heat last month. Hats off to all the cast and crew who went through the filming with smiles and lots of energy!
The music video features artistes Charlie Lim, Vanessa Fernandez, Joanna Dong, Aisyah Aziz, Shak’thiya Subramaniam and Kevin Lester (THELIONCITYBOY).
