A belated Blessed New Year to all the readers of this blog! It has been some time since I posted a wedding related post.
Denny & Anh were married at the historic Chijmes Hall 2 months ago. The last time I shot a wedding at this location was about 10 years ago when I was still using manual Leica cameras and only B&W film! Time has certainly flown by but I would like to think that though my equipment has evolved, my shooting style has remained the same . . . an unobtrusive documentary approach to covering the wedding day.
I have always found the Chijmes Hall to be a lovely location for a wedding with its high cathedral ceiling and stained glass windows. It is always an interesting exercise to effectively incorporate the unique architecture of historic locations into the photographs of a wedding day and I especially enjoyed this challenge at Denny & Anh’s wedding.
Denny & Anh were a lovely couple to work with and as with all weddings I have shot, I hope that they can relive their wedding day through the photographs I have taken.
The following are some of my favourite photographs from the day.
